Message from President Carol Peek
Hello Everyone,
My name is Carol Peek, and I am the proud president of VESPA. It is an honor to represent the educational support professionals (ESPs) of the Ventura Unified School District.
VESPA, along with our union siblings VUEA, has officially declared IMPASSE. This pertains to Article 19 - Layoffs and Article 20 - Total Compensation. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all who attended our VUEA/VESPA Town Hall on May 12th. Your turnout was remarkable!
Now, more than ever, we need to support each other. Your presence and participation show your commitment to fighting for what is right for all union members. We are the foundation and heart of VUSD. We are essential to the students we serve. Stronger than ever, stronger TOGETHER!
